Goats
We raise a variety of goats including Pygmy, Nigerian Dwarf and we have had some Boer goats in the past. We have a mix of wethers, bucks and does.
Shaggy Cow
This is Shaggy Cow. She has birthed several of the cattle we have for sale on the website. She is a Galloway/Highland mix.
Cattle
Most of our cattle are Herefords. We have about 5-10 at any given time. We typically rent a bull for breeding and raise those babies to either have more babies or we will send them to be processed for beef.
This is Cauliflower. She is a Great Pyrenees. She is the farm's guardian and (sometimes) herding dog. She keeps away predators that could harm our livestock. She loves sun baths and running around like crazy. She is a very good girl.
Our Farm
We raise cattle, goats, chickens, the occasional pig, and of course our barn cats and guardian dog, Cauliflower. We have several acres dedicated to hay while the others are for the livestock. We are currently working on building a greenhouse so we can have fresh fruits and vegetables.
